Thank you for considering contributing to The Lawway with Lawyers Journal. We value your expertise and insights, and we’re excited to collaborate with you in creating high-quality legal content that enhances our readers’ understanding of the law.
Submission Guidelines:

Format:
Articles and research papers should be submitted in a typed, duplicate document. -
Font Size:
12 for body text, 14 for sub-headings (Times New Roman). -
Page Margin:
1 inch on all sides. -
Headings & Sub-headings:
Must be in bold. -
Line Spacing:
1.5. -
Footnotes and Citations:
Must be properly formatted and referenced. -
Grammar & Spelling:
Ensure all content is thoroughly proofread. -
Illustrations, Figures, Maps, and Graphs:
Should be in black and white, numbered serially. -
Tables & Figures:
Numbered consecutively and placed at the end of the document. -
Abstract:
A 200-word abstract must accompany the article. -
Title Page:
A separate title page must include the title, author’s name, designation, and contact details. -
Reference List:
Only list references cited within the text. -
Co-authors:
Articles can have up to 2 authors. -
Cover Letter:
All submissions must include a cover letter with author details.
Word Limit:
- Long Article: 4000–5000 words
- Short Article: 1500–2000 words

The focus of The Lawway with Lawyers Journal is on contemporary legal issues. We invite articles addressing the latest trends and developments in law.
Topics include (but are not limited to):
- Business Law
- Law of Contract
- Criminal Law
- Corporate Law
- Constitutional Law
- ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution)
- Intellectual Property Law
- Cyber Law
- Environmental Law
- Human Rights Law

2. Originality and Plagiarism:
- Submitted articles must be original and unpublished.
- All sources must be properly attributed to avoid plagiarism.
- Authors are responsible for any legal issues arising from plagiarism.
3. Structure and Format:
- Structure your article with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion.
- Use headings and subheadings for better readability.
- Maintain a concise writing style, avoiding excessive jargon.
4. Citations and References:
- Ensure all citations and references are accurate.
- Use a recognized citation style (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago) consistently throughout the article.
5. Submission Process:
- Submit your article as a Word document or PDF.
- Include a brief author bio (maximum 100 words).

6. Review and Approval:
- Our editorial team will review your submission within 42 hours.
- Feedback will be provided for potential revisions if necessary.
7. Author Responsibility:
- Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their content and the sources they cite.
8. Copyright and Ownership:
- By submitting your article, you grant The Lawway with Lawyers Journal non-exclusive rights to publish it.
- You retain ownership of your article and may republish it elsewhere.
